Adelphoi is currently hiring for the following positions:
The Youth Counselor will coordinate and participate in the daily routine with the youth while enforcing rules. The Youth Counselor will observe youth behaviors and discusses approaches with more experienced personnel related to appropriate interventions. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, current Act 33/34 and FBI clearances. Degree and non-degree positions available. We have an excellent two week paid training program. Rotating shifts. Straight midnight shifts are also available.
Community-Based Programs offer an opportunity for identified children and their families to build positive relationships. The program provides multiple levels of service to coordinate and implement treatment plans. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, current Act 33/34 and FBI clearances. Bachelor’s and Master’s degree opportunities are available in psychology, social work or related field. Training or experience in group process and child management as well as 6-12 months experience is required.
MST Therapists provide therapy with youth and their families using an internationally recognized evidence-based treatment model. Therapists incorporate a strength-based comprehensive treatment model in working with families and youth exhibiting negative conduct behaviors. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, current Act 33/34, and FBI clearances. A Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related subject area, as well as experience in treatment services with youth and families, or a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of counseling experience working with youth or families is required.
Teachers develop lesson plans and performance tasks with desired stated outcomes for each plan of teaching. They facilitate learning of academic, social, and life skills. Specific certifications may be required. Full-time and substitute positions are offered.
