Adelphoi, a renowned nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and transforming the lives of youth, announces the opening of a new detention center in Pittsburgh.
Highland Detention at Shuman offers a safe, holistic and trauma-informed residential environment for youth who are pending further court proceedings. By blending our knowledge, resources, and passion for youth development, Adelphoi aims to revolutionize the way youth are supported within a detention environment, ensuring their well-being and providing them with the necessary tools to build brighter futures.
The program serves 12 youth, with plans to offer programming to up to 60 youth by 2025-2026.
