AT-RISK YOUTH NEED HELP TO RECOVER FROM CRISIS AND OVERCOME DIFFICULT CIRCUMSTANCES.
For nearly 50 years, we’ve been one of Pennsylvania’s leading providers of youth and family services.
We serve youth who are at-risk, abused, neglected, delinquent, struggling with academic or behavioral issues. Most of our youth and families have some involvement in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems.
Our programs serve 1000 youth and families everyday
Adelphoi’s residential programs provide individual attention by trained professionals in a caring and respectful home-like environment.
“Through Adelphoi, I have become more confident and direct with both my coworkers and my regular life. I have connected with many of the youth and I have loved seeing that I am making a difference. It is amazing how much I have learned from working with them as well.”

In celebration of national Manufacturing Day, Westmoreland County Community College-Advanced Technology Center (ATC) conducted the first of two programs for middle and high school female students to showcase manufacturing careers for women. Students from Ketterer Charter School participated in three 40-minute sessions selected from 10 activities that covered topics such as solid modeling using Inventor; virtual welding; WaterJet; computer numerical control (CNC) plasma cutters; machining a nametag with CNC; how electronic circuits work; designing a house with Revit; control electricity for heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration; making a robot do your virtual bidding; and 3-D printing. The program also included a panel discussion with current Westmoreland welding students and a graduate of the electronics engineering program. Each student received a T-shirt acknowledging national Manufacturing Day and breast cancer awareness for October, which is national breast cancer awareness month. #adelphoi#transforminglives#onechildatatime#ManufacturingDay...
