AT-RISK YOUTH NEED HELP TO RECOVER FROM CRISIS AND OVERCOME DIFFICULT CIRCUMSTANCES.
For nearly 50 years, we’ve been one of Pennsylvania’s leading providers of youth and family services.
We serve youth who are at-risk, abused, neglected, delinquent, struggling with academic or behavioral issues. Most of our youth and families have some involvement in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems.
Our programs serve 1000 youth and families everyday
Adelphoi’s residential programs provide individual attention by trained professionals in a caring and respectful home-like environment.
“Our goal in multisystemic therapy is to work with families and the communities around them to give each family the tools to be their own agents of change. Each day we are given an opportunity to work with these families not as directors of their progress but as partners and advocates in it.”
Recently, students from Raphael, Vincent, Loyalhanna and Benet Homes took a tour of the Westmoreland County Community College ATC center in New Station and the WCCC main campus. This past Summer and Fall, some of our foster children participated in The Traveling HeART Show. They all expressed their feelings through an art project that was displayed at many of our recruitment events throughout the year. The only instruction given for completion was that they needed to express something that was in their heart.
This year, Adelphoi Foster Care at the Stoltz office in Williamsport, PA has decided to decorate their office space with the heartfelt creations as reminders of the children we serve. The children are the reason we all entered this profession, and they continue to amaze us every day as they meet the challenges associated with their trauma. Some have found their permanent home through adoption or Permanency Legal Custodianship (PLC), but many others are still searching. One thing is certain, they all need and deserve foster homes where they can be supported, loved, and encouraged as they travel on their journey. If you know of anyone interested in becoming a foster parent, please call 1-800-KID-5928. ... See MoreSee Less
