ADELPHOI CULINARY STUDENTS MAKE MOZARELLA
Youth from the culinary branch of Adelphoi’s vocational program were treated to a demonstration on making fresh mozzarella. Rob Marshall, board member for Robert Ketterer Charter School, took the youth through the entire process, from curdling the milk to pressing the cheese. Rob has also been involved in the implementation of the Adephoi’s newest vocational track, horticulture. Youth in the culinary program participate in 15 units over one semester that help them develop competencies in food preparation and service, and ultimately have an opportunity to become SafeServe certified.
